Thanks to Piedmont Tire, all CASPCA adoptions at Fall Fest are sponsored! This means you can take home a new dog or cat for free.

Fundraising

While the event is free to attend, all proceeds from snacks and activations (like tattoos!) directly support animals in our care, from intake to adoption.

Got questions about Fall Fest?

  • Where is Fall Fest this year?

    Fall Fest will be held at IX Art Park! Feel free to park in the lots on-site. 

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes! We welcome you to bring your dog. 


    Dogs must be comfortable in large crowds and around other animals. Dogs must remain on leash at all times. 

  • Are adoptions really free?

    Yes! Thanks to Piedmont Tire, all CASPCA adoptions at Fall Fest will be free. 


    Adoption Counselors will be on-site to process your adoption right there, so you can head home together straight from the event. 

  • What is your Adoption Policy?

    The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA's open adoptions policy is designed to make pet adoption an accessible and positive experience for all individuals and families. This policy prioritizes finding loving, responsible homes by removing unnecessary barriers and focusing on educating adopters, rather than setting strict requirements. 


    Staff work collaboratively with potential adopters to ensure the right fit for both the animal and the adopter, offering guidance on pet care and behavior. This inclusive approach aims to increase adoption rates and help more animals find their forever homes. 


    Adoptions are processed on a first-come, first-served basis: we do not hold animals for any reason.

  • Can my business become a Sponsor?

    We are accepting Sponsorships through August 20th. To learn more about sponsoring this year's Fall Fest, please reach out to sponsorship@caspca.org

  • Can I be a Vendor at Fall Fest?

    This year, Fall Fest is focused mostly on adoptions and our community partnerships. With that in mind, vendors are invite-only. 


    However, if you'd like to express interest in vending, please reach out to Lauren Thomas, Events & Fundraising Manager at lthomas@caspca.org
