Happy Tails
April 10 | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Age Range: 6 - 10 years old
Cost: $50 / camper
This half-day (8:30 - 12:30) camp is the perfect opportunity for young animal lovers to spend their morning at the shelter learning, creating, and meeting some of our furry friends.
During this fun and engaging morning, campers will be introduced to:
- How shelters help animals in our community
- Understanding animal body language and safe interactions
- The basics of responsible pet ownership
- Simple ways kids can show kindness and help animals
Happy Tails
June 22 – 26 | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Age Range: Rising 1st–4th Graders
Cost: $200 / camper ($150 / additional siblings)
An exciting and educational week, this half-day summer camp designed for
rising 1st through 4th graders
who love animals and are eager to learn how to help them.
Throughout the week, campers will explore topics like:
- How animal shelters help pets and people in our community
- Understanding animal body language and behavior
- Being a responsible pet owner
- Ways kids can help animals in their everyday lives
- Keeping animals happy and healthy through enrichment and care
Future Animal Advocates
July 13 – 17 | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Age Range: Rising 5th–8th Graders
Cost: $200 / camper ($150 / additional siblings)
This half-day summer camp is designed for rising 5th through 8th graders who are passionate about animals and curious about making a real difference in their lives.
This engaging week will explore topics such as:
- Current issues in animal welfare and sheltering
- Animal behavior and positive reinforcement training
- Careers working with animals (veterinary medicine, behavior, sheltering, and more)
- Responsible pet ownership and community impact
- Advocacy, leadership, and how young people can help animals
