SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER
It takes a pack.
Animal shelters do more than find pets homes. They provide medical care, connect families with resources, and help animals through some of their toughest days. And they can't do it alone.
In 2025,
Shelter Animals Count estimates
5.8 Million
cats and dogs entered shelters
and rescues across America.
MEET THE RESCUES
OF THE Lap it Up Lager
The cat on your can? That’s Clementine! This one-eyed rescue cat and oddity shop “meow-nager” earned his spot through our 2027 Pet Calendar & Beer Contest. And Daisy, a CASPCA alum adopted in December 2025, is the pup you’ll spot on Lap It Up Lager (a Three-Notch'd Brewing Co. x CASPCA collaboration) tap handles around Charlottesville, VA!
Daisy’s just one success story.
She’s one of thousands of pets who passed through the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA on their way to something better. Here’s what 2025 looked like for our shelter:
11,788
pets and people served.
148,521
total meals distributed through our pet food pantry.
3,275
total spay/neuter surgeries performed.
12,300
hours volunteered by community members.
