CASPCA Volunteers

Volunteers are instrumental in helping us do the life saving work here at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. Volunteers are involved with many aspects of our shelter’s operations and contribute greatly towards improving the lives of the homeless animals we care for.

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is grateful for your interest and we appreciate your desire to donate your time to our cause.

If you are 16 years of age and would like to volunteer please pick up our volunteer application or download one. Volunteer Orientations are held a couple times a week and you will be contacted to set up a time.

Here are just some of the jobs that Volunteers help us with everyday.

• Dog Walkers/Trainers
• Rummage Store Helpers
• Purrin at Pantop and Petsmart Helpers
• Cat Socializers
• Clinic Assistants
• Offsite Adoption Counselors
• Birthday Party Administrators
• Front Desk Greeters
• Office Work
• Special Events
• Foster Care
…and many more
